Calibre Plastics provides custom plastic injection moulding (low to high volume), in-house tool & die making, CNC-capable mould design and maintenance, use of a wide range of polymers (ABS, HDPE, LDPE, Nylon, Polycarbonate, Polyethylene, Polypropylene, various rubbers), support for recycled-content materials, and onsite warehousing, pickup and delivery.
What production sizes and part weights can you handle?
The facility operates 40 injection moulding machines with clamping forces from 40 to 1350 tonnes, allowing production of components up to about 7.5 kg depending on part design and material choice – suitable for repeat production up to high-volume runs.
Which materials can you mould and can you work with recycled content?
Calibre moulds a broad range of polymers including ABS, HDPE, LDPE, Nylon (filled and unfilled), Polycarbonate, Polyethylene, Polypropylene, TPV/TPU and various synthetic rubbers. The team has experience using regrind and post‑industrial recycled content and can advise on suitability based on technical, regulatory and performance requirements.
Do you design and manufacture mould tools in-house?
Yes – Calibre has an established CNC-capable toolroom for design, manufacture and maintenance of injection moulds. In-house tooling shortens turnaround, reduces downtime and improves production continuity. We also work with customer-owned or pre-existing moulds.
How does Calibre ensure part quality and repeatability?
Quality is maintained through precision engineering and toolmaking expertise, controlled processes across their moulding machines, and in‑house tooling and maintenance. They emphasise repeatable production, closed-loop recycling of suitable scrap, and material guidance to meet functional requirements like rigidity and strength.
What lead times and turnaround can I expect?
Lead times vary by project scope (tooling, part complexity, volume and material). In-house toolroom capability and onsite mould maintenance are used to shorten turnaround and reduce downtime; for a precise delivery estimate you should request a quote with part drawings and volume requirements.

Can you support ongoing stock handling, pickup and delivery?
Yes – Calibre has over 2,000 m² of on‑site warehousing and stock handling and can arrange pickup or delivery to support efficient processing and reliable supply once parts are in production.
How do you support sustainability and waste reduction?
Calibre actively minimises waste through closed-loop recycling, regrinding and reusing suitable production scrap, and by advising on the viable use of post‑industrial recycled content—helping reduce landfill waste and improve resource efficiency without compromising part performance.
What information should I provide to determine cost and feasibility?
To assess cost and feasibility provide part drawings (CAD or engineering drawing), target material(s), expected annual and initial run volumes, required tolerances/finish, intended application or regulatory needs, and whether you have an existing mould. This enables accurate tooling, cycle time and price estimates.
